Journal2Day is designed to keep your private thoughts private. The first time you run Journal2Day it will create a new journal and ask you for a password. Do not forget the password!

 

Journal2Day uses 256-bit AES encryption to protect your journal. If you forget your password there is no way to recover your journal. KAB Software cannot recover your journal for you.

 

If you are not concerned with privacy you can use remove the encryption from your journal file.

 

Removing password encryption

To remove the password encryption select Remove Password from the File menu.

 

Enabling password encryption

To encrypt your journal with a password select Set Password from the File menu.
